Hacking4Humanity in Harrisburg!

Finalists and organizers from Hacking4Humanity 2025 (H4H) were invited to participate in a mini-hackathon competition at the PA Governor’s Residence in Harrisburg on March 21. This is the second year in a row that H4H teams traveled to the state capitol to present their policy and tech solutions for countering online hate to a panel of expert judges, including First Lady Lori Shapiro and other members of the Governor’s administration. This year’s teams were composed of students from Duquesne University, Carnegie Mellon University, and the University of Pittsburgh. Top honors in the Policy track went to team Green Eggs and Hamlet and team Parakeet Cloud was the Technology track standout. Congratulations to all of the presenters on their stellar projects!
